Woodworking engraving machine exports to Russia, the market has broad prospects

In order to promote the development of the domestic wood processing industry, Russia is gradually increasing the export tariffs on logs and exempting the import tariffs on wood processing equipment, which opens up a vast space for the export of woodworking engraving machines in Russia.

The relevant person in charge of the State Forestry Administration revealed at the "China-Russia Forest Development and Wood Processing Investment Policy Consultation and Training Conference" held recently that Russia will increase the export tariffs on logs and exempt the import tariffs on wood processing equipment.

Adding the added value of wood products, promoting the development of the domestic wood deep processing industry and promoting economic development, this will undoubtedly open up a vast space for China's woodworking machinery exports to Russia.

It is understood that Russia's forest harvesting, processing and other technologies and equipment are relatively backward. Most of the equipment used in Russia's deep processing projects are produced in European countries such as Germany or Italy, and China's forestry machinery and equipment, which is relatively superior in cost performance, is not widely recognized. The main reason is that the Russian government and Chinese and Russian enterprises have not understood enough about the development level of China's forestry machinery and equipment, and they still stay in the previous understanding.

Experts suggest that relevant enterprises can take advantage of the opportunity for Russian forest development and deep processing of wood to broaden the export quota of Russian forestry machinery and equipment and improve the Russian awareness of the deep processing level of timber.
